Travel by train
Airplanes make the best time, buses provide the best fares, but Irains are ilw most fun. Every child should enjoy the freedom that traveling in a train provides. There is spacious seating, leg room, and quite a rumble, so talking in a normal voice isn't going to disturb others. There is usually a dining car (in fact, some families like to sit in the dining car for most of the trip, since the tables allow the children to play games do art projects, and so on). There is no fear of being at a high altitude, your child’s ears won’t pop, and he’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the countryside. And depending on the trip, he may even get to lie down comfortably and sleep.
While the same caveats apply to any kind of public travel— children shouldn’t bother other passengers--train travel generally allows kids more freedom.
Be sure to discuss proper behavior before going on any train journey with your child.
